Hi and welcome. I'm Angie, a striving fiction writer and painter, still with much to learn.

 

I'm a nerd for story arcs, character development and elegant sentences. Some of my all-time favorite novels are: Peace Like a River by Leif Enger and The Shipping News by Annie Proulx.

Ever since I was a girl, I've drawn and painted. I especially love to paint natural objects up-close, to celebrate the greatness of small things.

 

I'm also a pastor's wife. Though I don't sing or teach or host gatherings, I know a lot about church culture, and I've put these insights to work in my latest, yet-to-be-published novel, Under the Red Clay.
